Hi,
I'm trying to connect to my workplace Digital workspace using the Citrix workspace app. This works fine on iOS devices so I know it's all authenticating correctly.
Citrix Access Gateway Endpoint Analysis
Citrix Gateway supports Client Security Expressions (Endpoint Analysis expressions) at four different locations: nFactor (Authentication Virtual Server) Advanced EPA Policy and EPA Action – this is the preferred method in ADC 13 and newer since Classic EPA is supposed to be removed in ADC 13.1 and newer.
I'm having trouble connecting using my Windows 10 PC. As part of logging on, the Citrix Gateway Endpoint Analysis (EPA) app has to run a scan to check my computer meets security considerations (e.g. operating system, antivirus, etc). The scan gets half way through before quitting - I'm then just presented with the unhelpful message in my browser: 'Error: not a privileged user'.

SmartAccess / SmartControl. SmartAccess and SmartControl let you change ICA connection behavior (e.g. Disable client device mappings, hide icons) based on how users connect to Citrix Gateway. Decisions are based on Citrix Gateway Virtual Server name, Session Policy name, and Endpoint Analysis scan success or failure. Im looking to create a deny preauthentication policy that rejects any Windows or Mac systems connecting with software installed from a certain vendor. The OPSWAT editor has many options for this particular vendor and creating an expression that encompasses the entire catalog reaches MaxLength qui. To configure an advanced Endpoint Analysis policy for specific sessions. Navigate to Citrix Gateway Policies. In the details pane, on the Policies tab, click Add. Enter a name for the policy. In the Action menu, do one of the following: a. Select an existing action.
After much experimentation, I've pinpointed the reason down to my antivirus software McAfee Livesafe. The only way the EPA scan runs successfully is if I uninstall McAfee completely and just rely on Windows Defender...which I'm not willing to do on my personal computer on an ongoing basis...and can't believe I'd need to. Within my firewall settings in Livesafe I've already granted every permission possible to the EPA app. Surely there's a way round this to allow the EPA to recognise my McAfee software?

Any help would be much appreciated - scouring the internet I've been unable to find anything on this issue and my IT team at work haven't been much help at all.
Thanks
